Was born in 1954 in a small town, Usty-Katchka of the Penny region. Graduated from The Art-Graphic Secondary School in 1972 and The Art-Grafic Faculty of The Moscow Pedagogical Institute in 1981. Served in The Soviet Army. Worked as a drawing teacher then as an artist-illustrator of the magazin. From 1982 - a professional painter.
