Was born in 1946 in Omsk. He's got an artistic education at the «Moscow artistic school named after the memory of the Revolution of the 1905» in 1963-1971. He lives in Moscow. Since 1981, Alexander is a member of the «Union of the Russia`s Artists». He is a graphic artist. The major techniques he uses are: etching, mezzotinto, miekki werniks, xilografia. He created about 150 works. 30 of them are ex libris. Prizes awarded: Paris (France), 1996 – prize in concours d`ex libris «Le XXI siecle»: Lubin (Poland), 1999 – Medal at «BIENNALE GRAPHICAT IN METAL TECHNIQUE «CUPRUM VIII»; Malbork (Poland), 2000 – Medal at XVIII Biennale of modern ex libris; Vareze (Italy), 2002 – Prize at the concours of ex libris.
